Gumboots on for WRA Managers
On the 28th April, Michelle and Sue (Waikato River Authority Fund Managers) joined the RiverCare team for a day out visiting projects in and around the north Waikato area. Watch the VIDEO to see what we got up to.
Over the last three months, funding on a few of the WRA funded projects have come to an end, so a site visit was a great way to showcase project outcomes and discuss key learnings and highlights.
We visited a total of 6 sites:
The last site visited is an ecological restoration project we are hoping to seek funding for in the near future.
Michelle and Sue provided positive feedback on each of the projects and were very pleased with Waikato RiverCare’s management of the restoration projects.
It was a great day out of the office seeing what we are accomplishing on the ground!
